eSPIRES can function as a state level
information system or a large district information system. This software
package interfaces with school administration packages (SAP) to transmit
student and personnel data to state or (large) district level. eSPIRES - Features

eSPIRES - Security
eSPIRES follows the Family Educational
Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) guidelines. Users are required to identify and
authenticate themselves prior to obtaining access to eSPIRES.
User roles are set up based on school level, district level, and state level.
Users may be assigned to one or more roles or assigned directly to forms and/or
reports. eSPIRES will allow read only or
full update access to data.
eSPIRES - Hardware and
Software Requirements
eSPIRES is currently compatible with: Oracle Database, Sun Sparc Solaris 2.6 servers,
Oracle Application Server, Oracle Developer Server, Oracle Forms & Reports
(Win98, SunOS, Win 2000), and Oracle J-Initiator.
Third Day Solutions understands that many states are a Microsoft-based shop and the technical solution for eSPIRES is to utilize the .NET architecture.
