Third Day Solutions conducted the feasibility and requirements study for the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) which included the functional requirement analysis for the development and implementation of a state-level Student Information System (SIS). The ISBE SIS will be a web-enabled system developed utilizing the .NET architecture. As part of the project, Third Day Solutions developed and maintained technical specifications, developed the data model describing data elements and their use, developed the phases and timetable for developing the application, defined interfaces with other systems, and developed and documented the methodology for assignment of student identifiers.
